Railway Walk
On Monday 7th December, Oak class went on a Railway Walk, exploring the old Yelverton to Princetown railway track as far as Ingra Tor. They braced the cold weather, enjoyed the winter sunshine and walked a staggering 18km in total! We identified the remains of Burrator and Ingra Tor halt and imagined what it would have been like to have been a passenger, taking in the beautiful views on the old Victorian railway. We all learned more about the railway and had a fantastic day. A big thank you to the parents that helped and joined us on the walk.
